Big Boy Chair

A couple of weeks ago, we moved the highchair to the basement and purchased Philip a booster seat. He loves sitting at the table with us!

Enjoying lunch (grilled cheese and brocooli) on a Sunday afternoon.

We recently started giving him juice (cut with water). He loves Apple and Eve Berry juice!

Lola especially enjoys Philip's new proximity to the floor.

Andrew Update

My pregnancy is moving along smoothly. I had my 24 week prenatal appointment on Thursday. Andrew's heartbeat is strong and he is an active little boy already. The nurse had a heck of a time getting a good read on him with the doppler! Every time she'd catch him he'd kick and turn away. I swear it took a solid five minutes before she could get his BPM. At that point I was ready to follow Andrew's cue myself!

I'm measuring right at 24 weeks and I've only gained 6 pounds so far. Whoohoo!

Next month I have my Glucose Tolerance Test. Can't wait! (Ha ha.)

New Favorite Thing

Philip was the recipient of a gently-loved Little Tikes Cozy Coupe when he was just starting to sit up on his own. Fast forward a year later and its his new favorite toy. We originally had it on the deck but quickly realized that if we didn't make it an indoor toy (for now) that we'd be spending 90% of the day on the deck. He loves his car!

He still loves his ride on toy though! His new thing is being pushed all over the house on it. He's even figured out how to steer around the obstacle course that is often our living room!

Middle Name "Danger"

How I found him this afternoon:

I'm starting to think having a girl must be a cake walk in comparison!

Easter 2010

Thursday morning we packed up and headed out on an 8 hour car ride to Phil's parents' house in Murrells Inlet, SC to surprise Phil's dad for his 60th birthday. Easter was the following Sunday so we planned to stay and spend the holiday at the beach. It was so nice to get away, even if it was only for a long weekend!

Thursday morning we went to breakfast at our favorite breakfast place, Nibil's at Surfside Pier. We got the best seat in the house, an ocean view on each side!

Checking out the ocean with Daddy. The water was freezing!

Saturday afternoon we dressed Philip in his Easter outfit for a second attempt at a picture with the Easter Bunny, this time at Coastal Mall.

"Philip, where are the bunnies"
"Dare!"

Waiting to see the Easter Bunny. So excited! He kept pointing and smiling. But we all knew what was coming...

I think the face says it all here. Such a contrast to last year!

Oh well! I'm glad we went back for a take two, even if Philip wasn't. He'll laugh when he's older!

And anyway, ice cream makes everything better.

Getting a pony ride from Daddy.

Dying Easter Eggs. He loved dunking the eggs in the cups!

Gotta love that face.

Admiring his handy work with Grammie and Grandpa.

He cracks himself up.

Checking out the surprise the Easter Bunny left for him!

Hugging his bunny from Great Grandma G.

A kite!

Later we had an Easter Egg hunt in the back yard. He loved it!

He was so excited to find all of the eggs and put them in the basket.

Cutie Pie

Found all of the eggs. Now what?

Kite flying with Daddy

All in all it was a great weekend! Philip had so much fun running around, playing at his grandparents' house and visiting with family, and he was a great traveler considering how long the ride was! Hope everyone had a Happy Easter, too!
