NIGHT!!!
I dare say, I think we're finally there! After almost 6 long months of multiple nighttime feedings per night, Philip is finally sleeping more than 4 hours at a time. In fact, most nights he's pulling totally respectable 7 hour stretches. One night he even gave us nine! Whoohoo!
We're super grateful for this little guy. Thank you for the return on our investment in gentle nighttime parenting and (pleeeeeeeease) keep up the good work!

Moving on from the swing
We're officially retiring the swing until baby #2 comes along. Philip no longer has any patience for such baby-like, minimal momentum activities. LOL.
These two pictures were taken five months apart from each other. WOW!

Tummy Time
A once hated past time has since turned into a new obsession. Philip is so into rolling now I frequently find him "stuck" up on his tummy in his crib at night. Granted, this is cute, but do we really need one more reason for him not to sleep at night?

Whole lotta shakin' goin' on!
Philip has recently discovered how to jump in his Jumperoo (with the help of a strategically placed pillow wrapped in a garbage bag). He loves it and watching him is hilarious!

Hey, what are those things?
Philip has officially found his feet! Now one of his favorite things to do is grab on to them while I change his diaper. Can't say I don't appreciate the help!
The milestones just keep rolling by. I'm anxiously awaiting the day when he can sit unsupported. Hopefully it will make bath time (another one of Philip's new favorite activities) a little less complicated.
And then there's that big, elusive milestone that I can only dream about so far... that is when I'm able to sleep long enough to dream: SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT. Needless to say, Phil and I are both very excited about that developmental milestone. We've put in a long, hard five months of interrupted sleep and are ready for a well-deserved break. Keep your fingers crossed for us that Philip has similar goals! :-)
